2 pounds chicken drumsticks (about 3-4)

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves minced garlic

1 cup sliced onions

1 teaspoon fresh thyme

1 teaspoon Creole seasoning

1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup all-purpose flour mixed with 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning

1 Preheat the frying pan.

2 Sprinkle chicken drumsticks evenly with 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning on both sides. Add part of the flour and Creole seasoning mixture to a small bowl. Dip the chicken legs into the flour mixture, making sure the chicken legs are evenly coated in the mixture. Repeat this step with the remaining chicken legs.

3 Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot, add the chicken legs to the pot. Cook the drumsticks for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Cook skin side for 5-7 minutes. Set the cooked chicken legs aside. Wipe pan clean with paper towels.
