Durability
Following the instructions, we washed the machine washable parts—the pillowcase and outer pillow. Note that the inner pillow (latex core) is not washable. Comfort And Support

Odors
Latex materials generally have a faint chemical smell. Luckily, this pillow has almost no smell. If you are very sensitive to odors, it is recommended that you let it air out for a day.

Sleeping Style
Side sleeping and back sleeping are my favorite positions. My friend April also said that the Saatva latex pillow is suitable for side sleeping. It provides me with a hotel-like sleeping experience. The down alternative outer layer is very fluffy. My head wasn’t floating on the pillow, it was sinking. When it sinks to a certain depth, the latex core fits my cervical spine perfectly. It’s also the perfect height for side sleeping. And its loft is adjustable.
It is not suitable for stomach sleeping. Eric said the addition of the latex core made the pillow too high. Removing the inner pillow is not a perfect solution. Stomach sleepers need thin, soft pillows. He also mentioned that people weighing more than 230 pounds may not be satisfied. Prolonged pressure flattens the outer pillow. The head, which is in direct contact with the latex core, does not receive adequate support.

Should You Try It?
Back sleepers and side sleepers can try it out. The softness of the outer pillow combined with the support of the inner pillow brings you a high-end hotel sleeping experience. As for stomach sleepers, I wouldn’t recommend trying it. Removing the latex core is not the best solution. And its price is also relatively expensive because of its high-end materials. Those on a tight budget can look at other latex pillows.
